Mete is a Developer Advocate at Google, currently focused on helping developers with Google Cloud Platform. As a long-time Java and a recent C# developer, he likes to compare the two ecosystems.

"I'm driven by curiosity. I believe life is an experiment, and have applied this "try it and see what happens" approach to just about any job - teaching English to the Japanese military, fitting forecasting models to sales data, and teaching myself data science.

"My science background taught me the art of asking smart questions, designing experiments and separating signal from noise through statistics; I'm now seeking to up my game by adding machine learning and artificial intelligence to my toolbox. I'm excited about how the data deluge is making applications more intuitive, and would love to get in touch about machine learning and analyst roles."

Robert is a Senior Developer Advocate for the Google Cloud Platform based in London, UK, specializing in Container, Storage and Scalable technologies. Before joining Google, Robert collected over 10 years of experience in Software Development and Architecture. He has driven multiple full-stack application developments at SAP with a passion for distributed systems, containers and databases. In his spare time he enjoys following tech trends & good restaurants, traveling and improving his photographing skills.

Gus loves solving problems and thinking laterally to create new ways of solving business/product problems. He is an infrastructure nerd and Google Cloud Platform enthusiast. He is an advocate for Google Cloud Platform, open source software as well as mobile app development and strategy. He is a frequent public speaker and spends time working with both education and startups on making the most of their move to the cloud.

Florian has experience in scientific computing and data science ranging from high-performance computing to domain-specific languages. He is an open source, open data and Python enthusiast and a co-organiser of the wildly successful PyData London conference and meetup series.

Nana has extensive Software Engineering and Management expertise, spanning 20+ years, gained while working in numerous and diverse industries including telecommunications, investment banking, aerospace, software education and business operations management.

SDET Engineer with domain knowledge ranging from IPTV to Games and Anti-Virus. Passionate about product & service engineering with broad multi-discipline experience of Development, Test and Operations.

Joe works with a huge range of technologies (mostly web stuff), and loves learning about new and exciting gadgets whenever possible. He's involved in various local communities as a speaker and organiser.

Senior Radio and Access Transmission Engineer with over nine years experience in functionality, strategy, architecture, optimisation, characterisation, end 2 end performance, software testing, operations etc. Experience with three different operators (Ericsson, Alcatel Lucent/ Nortel, Nokia) on two different Radio Networks (GSM and UMTS) across radio and access transmission domain.

Jay Younes has worked in the mobile development environment for many years including for the various AR/VR platforms like HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR, Google Glass, Epson Moverio Smartglasses, 360 Cameras and Google Project Tango AR Tablets. He is an active advocate of and very enthusiastic about local business communities.
